Using your ozone water machine safely: workflow, LPM and maintenance

Safe ozone water machine use

This hub consolidates practical, safe operation of the ozone‑water machine. We make no claims about disinfection, hygiene or medical uses. Ozone water is for surface cleaning only.

Step 1 — LPM & setup

  • Size by LPM: determine peak demand. Small areas: 1–2 LPM; larger spaces need more.

  • Utilities: verify water and power; keep hoses short and leak‑free.

  • Controls: prefer simple controls and a rinse mode.

Step 2 — Workflow

Use the two‑cloth method for consistent results: light mist, overlapping passes, immediate dry‑down. Work from clean to dirty and top to bottom. Use quality microfiber.

Step 3 — Maintenance & cost

  • No filters: there are no periodic filter swaps.

  • Electrodes: inspect around ~1000 hours or ~500,000 L; replace if required (~€75 parts).

  • Monthly check: visual inspection, hose/fittings, quick flow test, rinse mode.

Safety & limits

  • Use ozone water immediately after generation; activity decays within minutes.

  • Ensure ventilation when using ozone air generators (only in unoccupied rooms).

  • Surface cleaning only: not for consumption or medical use.
