Why ready-made ozone water does not exist
Learn why ready-made ozone water does not exist and why freshly generated ozone water from a machine is essential for surface cleaning.

Ready-made ozone water does not exist. Discover why ozone water is only active for 15–30 minutes and why fresh on-demand production is the safest choice for surface cleaning.
Ready-made ozone water: why it does not work
Why ready-made ozone water does not exist
Ozone water is a short-lived cleaning solution that you use only for surface cleaning. It is created when an ozone water machine temporarily dissolves ozone into mains water. Its activity then declines rapidly. Our ozone water from the ozone water machine is intended solely for surface cleaning and not for consumption or medical applications.
What exactly is ozone water?
When ozone is dissolved in water it forms a temporarily active cleaning solution. If you want to understand the basics first, start with What is ozone water?. You can then look at which ozone water machine fits your organisation and how to integrate it, supported by our guides or direct contact.
Half-life: 15–30 minutes
Ozone molecules are unstable and revert back to oxygen within roughly 15–30 minutes. In practice this means that freshly generated ozone water is strongest at the moment it leaves the machine and then gradually loses activity. A ‘ready-made’ product kept in stock would lose its key benefit while it sits on the shelf or during transport.
Producing instead of buying
Instead of buying ozone water as a ready-made product, you generate it directly on site. This reduces chemical inventory, storage space and transport. Using ozone water is cost-saving because you only need water and electricity to make cleaning water. You work with one clear workflow for many everyday surfaces and do not have to prepare multiple chemical products.
Practical workflow with the two-cloth method
Spray onto the cloth for controlled application, or directly onto closed surfaces such as tables, floors or tiles. Workflow: two-cloth method — 1) Spray a light mist onto the surface. 2) Clean in overlapping strokes with cloth A. 3) Dry immediately with cloth B for a streak-free result. Work from cleaner to less clean areas: touch points first, then furniture, then wet areas.
For a step-by-step explanation, see the two-cloth method.
Why choose ozone water
✔️ Produce cleaning water on site instead of relying on ready-made bottles.
✔️ Reduce storage, logistics and gain predictable cost per litre.
✔️ Use a simple, repeatable workflow with the two-cloth method.
