Ozone water machine: managers FAQ
Managers FAQ: operating an ozone water machine
This FAQ helps managers run an ozone water machine in a BPR-safe way for surface cleaning on closed, wipeable materials. No medical or food claims.
1. Standard method and ownership
Appoint a shift owner for daily start, control and closing. Standard wording: “Spray onto the cloth for controlled use, or directly onto closed surfaces (such as tables, floors or tiles).”
Opening: visual device check, cloth and bottle stock
Peak: short pass on touch points
Closing: final round + dry storage
2. Materials and compatibility
Use on HPL, coated wood, stainless steel, glass and tiles. Always start with a spot test. Use microfiber and color-code cloths per zone.
Avoid porous/damaged substrates without testing
Prevent over-wetting edges/seams
For glass: two-cloth finish (clean + dry)
3. Workflow and routes
Plan opening–peak–closing. Work clean → less-clean: touch points → furniture → wet areas. Use overlapping strokes and dry immediately.
4. Costs and affordability
For only €0.0017 per liter, you produce your own cleaning water directly from the tap.
✅ No expensive bottles or logistics
✅ Less plastic and storage
✅ Simple training
After ~1000 hours or 500,000 liters: parts ≈€75
5. Maintenance and assurance
Follow the manual. Keep inlets clean, replace wear parts on time and store the unit dry. Report deviations immediately and log them in the start-of-day checklist.
