Ozone water device in gyms: practical, efficient surface cleaning
Gyms turn over users quickly, so a streamlined surface cleaning routine matters. With an ozone water device, you clean purposefully without stockpiling bottles. Note: BPR-compliant use only — not for consumption or medical purposes.
Two-cloth workflow
Spray a light mist onto the surface (or cloth A) → clean in overlapping strokes → dry immediately with cloth B. On consoles/screens, cloth application is most controlled; on larger areas (floors, mats) spray directly and mop.
- Start with touchpoints (handles, buttons, consoles)
- Proceed to furniture and equipment
- Finish with wet zones and floors
Daily scheduling
Quick rounds between classes, a thorough pass off-peak, and a final round before closing. A fixed route helps keep results consistent.
Costs and maintenance
On-site generation (~€0.0017 per litre). No filters. After ~1000 hours, have electrodes inspected; typical parts replacement is ~€75. No known recurring faults. Rinse the sprayer and perform visual checks.
Practical tips
- Use a fine mist for consoles and grips
- Segment mats: mist → clean → mop
- Do not store ozone water; activity declines within minutes
