Ozone water in healthcare: a stable work method
Ozone water in healthcare: one workflow, many rooms
In healthcare settings, keeping the same surface-cleaning method per room creates calm execution. Ozone water is available on demand and used for surface cleaning, which removes product switching and preserves a steady rhythm across shifts.
Two-cloth workflow
Spray onto the cloth for controlled application, or directly on closed surfaces (tables, floors, tiles). Workflow: 1) Mist a light layer on the surface or cloth A. 2) Clean in overlapping passes. 3) Immediately finish with cloth B. Work clean to less clean: touchpoints → furniture → wet zones.
Chemical-free cleaning
When ozone water is used, no additional chemical agents are applied. It is generated on-site and ready for surface cleaning immediately. This removes bottle logistics, storage constraints and switching overhead.
Costs and affordability
At approximately €0.0017 per liter, you produce your own cleaning water straight from the tap.
- ✅ No expensive bottles or logistics
- ✅ Less plastic and storage
- ✅ Simple to operate
- Maintenance after ~1000 hours or ~500,000 liters (≈ €75 in parts).
Departmental route
Start with entrances and waiting areas, continue through contact zones, then patient-related rooms; finish in restrooms. The method stays identical; only the order changes.
