Three bar. That is the number everything revolves around when it comes to the water connection of the ozone cleaner. It is the maximum water pressure for which the device is designed, tested and certified. Those who connect their ozone cleaner to the mains water supply generally do not stop to think about the pressure on that network. In most cases they do not need to. But for anyone who wants to use the device safely and durably, it is useful to understand what three bar means, why that limit exists and what happens if the actual pressure is structurally or temporarily higher. Water pressure is expressed in bar. One bar corresponds to the pressure of a water column ten metres high, or roughly the atmospheric air pressure at sea level. Water pressure is also not constant. Pressure in the pipe network varies throughout the day depending on consumption in the area. A connection that falls within the specification at a quiet moment can temporarily deliver higher pressure during the morning rush or in periods of low consumption.
