Ozone water applications and areas – practical guide

Learn where ozone water fits best for safe surface cleaning: hospitality, healthcare, offices and more. Practical workflows, costs and compliance.

Where to apply ozone water?

Ozone water: applications and areas

Used correctly, ozone water helps teams perform surface cleaning consistently. This hub brings together the core environments, workflows and compliance boundaries you need for day-to-day operations.

Principles and BPR boundaries

We position ozone water for surface cleaning only—no health or disinfection claims. Use it fresh, apply a light mist and work from clean to less clean. See What is ozone water? and our ozone water machine overview.

Hospitality, healthcare, offices and schools

Hospitality: worktops, stainless steel, tiles and floors. Healthcare: touch points, bedside furniture and sanitary areas. Offices: desks, meeting tables, keyboards (mist onto the cloth), phones and door handles. Schools & childcare: tables, play areas and sanitary spaces.

Two-cloth workflow

Spray onto the cloth for control or lightly on the surface, clean with cloth A in overlapping passes, then dry with cloth B. See the two-cloth method.

Costs and affordability

Approx. €0.0017 per litre made on-site. No bottle logistics, less plastic, predictable availability. Maintenance: check electrodes after ~1,000 hours (parts ≈ €75).

  • ✅ Low running cost
  • ✅ Less storage and plastic
  • ✅ Simple, repeatable workflow
